I’ve been reading Tarot for over 30 years, I picked up my first deck when I was 17 years old and it has been part of every major decision I’ve made throughout my life.
The Tarot is a life long journey of discovery. This course offers my way to learn these 78 cards of art so you can confidently read for yourself to gain insight, clarity and direction. Learn the foundations of this insightful, profound and multilayered system to gain clarity and understanding, giving you the foundation of knowledge to interpret the Tarot with accuracy.
We will cover deck types and the varieties of Tarot, the structure of the system, each card and the easiest way to learn and approach them, the elements, the suits, numerology, the court cards, the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana, types of reading styles and approaches, reading technique, myths and misconceptions, how to use and care for your deck, how to perform a reading and ethics.
Short Bio:
Bec Birrell is an Artist, Designer, Professional Card Reader and Teacher of Tarot and the Intuitive Arts, Founder and Creator of My Inner Witch. She has been reading Tarot for 30 years and is also a professional Lenormand reader, and she works with hermetic kabbalah, astrology, magick, numerology, pendulum, oracles and the petit etteilla. Bec is a regular speaker at international divination conferences, and teaches and mentors students. She is a content creator for The Tarot Association of the British Isles and the Tarot Guild of Australia. She offers courses, workshops and professional reading sessions. She also creates decks, divination tools and wearable art.

5 weeks, from foundations to reading the Lenormand Grand Tableau for fluent predictive accuracy.
Wednesday Evenings starting 15th Jan - 12 Feb, 2025
7.30pm to 9pm AEDT
5 x 1.5 hour online classes

Lenormand is an incredible predictive and literal system, grounded in the day to day. It is a language that expresses itself through the nuances of card meaning, card placement and influence. This course will lay the foundations of Lenormand, the cartomantic system, core meanings and the technique of reading the cards in interaction as a fluid and predictive language to read Lenormand fluently to get the most accurate readings.
Held over 5 weeks via zoom, we will cover the system of Lenormand, the core meanings, reading techniques, small spreads, 3 cards, narrative lines, the 9 card box, yes/no reads, predictive reading, cartomantic techniques, directionality and the pinnacle spread of the Lenormand that uses every card in the deck, the Grand Tableau.
All weeks will be recorded and include Q&A time where you have access to mentoring on your reads as you go.
